I’m a writer from Texas living in Brooklyn, NY. My work has appeared in The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Brooklyn Rail, Electric Literature, Publishers Weekly, and elsewhere. In 2022, I went back to school to get my MFA in creative writing at Columbia University. I am at work on a memoir about mothers, ghosts, and four generations of Texas women.

In 2011, my partner and I opened Shorty’s Pizza Shack, a college dive bar and slice shop in Waco, TX. Our second location opened in 2023.
